About the app
Which devices does Birthday Reminder run on?
iPhone, from the App Store, and Android phones, from Google Play. There is no web version.
Who makes Birthday Reminder?
SKSK Studios, a two-person studio. You can reach us from the support page.
Which languages does the app support?
English, Turkish, French, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Malay, Indonesian and Russian.
Is Birthday Reminder free?
It is free to download. The free plan limits how many birthdays you can add, how many gift ideas and interests you can save for each person, and the reminder timing. The current birthday limit can change, so the app shows the one that applies. Premium is a subscription that lifts the limits and adds AI gift suggestions.
How do I restore or cancel Premium?
Use Restore in the app’s Settings to bring back a purchase you already made. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you manage or cancel them in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Birthdays and reminders
How do I add birthdays?
Import them from Contacts or Calendar, or add each one manually. The import guide shows the steps.
What happens when I import?
The app asks for permission, then shows a review list. Only people with a valid birthday start selected, you can fix missing dates before saving, and people you already have are skipped as duplicates.
When can I be reminded?
At the time of the birthday, or 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks or 1 month before. You can pick several, for example a week before and on the day. See the notifications guide.
What do I get on the free plan?
One reminder on the day, at 9:00 AM. Changing the notification switch, the reminder time and the timings is part of Premium.
Why am I not getting notifications?
Check that notifications are allowed for Birthday Reminder in your phone’s settings. If you declined them earlier, the app asks you to enable them in system settings.
Gift ideas, privacy and data
What are AI gift suggestions?
A Premium feature that suggests up to five ideas per request from the person’s age, gender, saved interests and the ideas you already saved or skipped. The AI gift ideas guide explains it.
Is the person’s name or birthday sent?
No. The request contains the age, gender, interests, ideas to exclude and the app language, not the name or the birthday.
What happens to suggestions I skip?
Ideas you do not select are kept as excluded, so they are not suggested again.
Can Birthday Reminder buy or deliver gifts?
No. It stores ideas and, with Premium, suggests them. You buy the gift yourself.
Where is my data stored, and can I delete it?
Your people and settings are stored on your device. Settings has Delete all data, which removes people, settings and reminders. The privacy policy has the full details.
