THE SHORT ANSWER
An audio transcription app for the files already on your phone.
Voice Note Transcriber works on iPhone and Android. It isn't a website you upload to: you add files in the app, from your phone's storage or from another app's Share option, and the results stay in your library.
Besides a full transcript, it can summarize a long recording, translate it, or do both, and keep everything in folders you can search.

How to transcribe an audio file

Add the audio
In Voice Note Transcriber, pick one or more audio or video files from your phone. You can also share a file from another app, or record straight in the app.

Choose the output
Transcribe for the full text, Summarize for the key points, Translate into another language, or Summarize + Translate. On the Power plan, you can add speaker labels.

Read, copy, save
Open the result, copy what you need, and save it to a folder with tags. Saved results sync to your account, so you can search them later.

Is there a web version for uploading audio?
No. Voice Note Transcriber is an iPhone and Android app, and this website has no upload page. Add files in the app on your phone.
Which audio formats are supported?
MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, and OPUS audio files, plus MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, and WEBM video files.
Can I transcribe a video file?
Yes. Pick an MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, or WEBM video and the app transcribes the speech in it.
Can I transcribe several audio files at once?
Yes. Select several files in the app and send them together, with the same action for each.
How accurate is the transcript?
It depends on the recording. Clear speech close to the microphone transcribes better than noisy or distant audio, so review the text before relying on it for anything important.
What happens to my audio files?
Voice Note Transcriber sends the audio to AI providers for processing and removes it afterwards. Results you save sync to your account, and you can delete them, or all of your app data, from the app.
